"Random prediction: Kristen Stewart will go on to big career." Mon Apr-14-14 04:33 AM by denny
She will be a massive star with multiple oscars. Career arc similar to Matt Mcanoughy. She reminds me of Kurt Cobain. Best frown in show-biz. Distinct and heavy. If the parts come...the frown will be waiting. She evokes alot of different things with her facial demeanor. Won't even need to act when the roles get right.

it was an entertaining film overall and I didn't have an issue with Stewart's performance, Joan was more the monotone straight-man role to the doomed Cherie which was the juicier role but I left that film feeling more like 'Damn, Dakota is grown' than 'Kristen Stewart is the next legendary actress'.
Musical Sidenote: The Runaways' "Live In Japan" album (which I've been playing on Spotify quite a bit lately) is a nice little 39 minute-late-70's-LA-trashy-rock-n-roll album. Has that youthful energy that can't really be imitated and the playing is more than competent enough for what it attempts to do. Gives you basically all the major songs from the band's history you would want plus two canonical covers (Wild Thing, Rock N' Roll) done in Runaways fashion.

she plays that angst up a lot but it has worked for just about all her characters. acting wasn't high on the priorities list for Twilight either so i don't really count that. they almost purposely turned in terrible performances for those films.
She's very good in sub-par movies. First ones that come to mind are 'Adventureland' and 'Into the Wild'. She is not a fake white trash actor. She's real.
I googled her and clicked on images. It's pretty obvious that she's an opiate user. I'm thinking Oxycontin and if not, heroin. But looking at pictures taken of her at public events....her face is SOOOOOOO evocative. There's millions of poor white people in America that she encapsulates. I'm serious when I compare her to Cobain. Look at her pictures.
