That very few of these have actually worked for me. FLASHPOINT was brilliant, as was NEW FRONTIER. I liked FIRST FLIGHT a lot. DOOM was great. Other than that? I liked the last 5 mins of WONDER WOMAN. I liked part two of DKR. ALL STAR SUPERMAN I would've loved if I wasn't such a mark for the original comic. Annnnnd I think that's it.
So, that being said.... even as much as I didn't like all those other films, I would gladly watch any one of them over ever watching WAR again. It felt completely off. Like I said, other than Barry, not one character in that thing is even remotely likeable.

i should like this, but it's just so unfamiliar. i haven't read the new comics this is based on so i don't know if i'm missing something, but this feels weird. everyone was a jerk to put it mildly. what was up with Superman's attitude? if people were bothered by him snapping necks in Man of Steel, i wonder what they'll say about this. why was Wonder Woman acting like a spoiled brat? Shazam was a jerk as a kid and as a hero. and that unit was able to get the better of Darkseid? i also wasn't expecting to hear that much coarse language.

Flashpoint might be in the conversation for the best animated feature ever.
*spoiler alert*
WAR made WW seem out of place, Supes was a jerk, Cyborg's transition from teen athlete to superhero was far too smooth, the animation towards the end got really lazy (look at the scene at the White House again). It just made me want to watch Flashpoint again.

I liked the story but some of the choices they've made in production hindered the quality of the final product. This is the worst looking, most unlikable Superman I've ever seen. I also think that Allan Tudyk sounds nothing like what Superman should sound like ( Tim Daly you are missed here). The character models overall were bland, IMO. Captain Marvel was another design I wasn't fond of. At some points in the beginning of the movie, Flash is drawn really sloppily, it gets better towards the end. In contrast I thought Wonder Woman design was pretty refreshing .Batman and Darkside also looked pretty cool.
The animation...Ugh! Maybe I watch too much anime but at 1080p 120 hz action sequences shouldn't look so choppy.Japanese anime are a lot more fluid in their animations. It wasn't throughout, Wonder Woman fight in front of the ice cream parlor was particularly bad, also the first Cyborg fight was an eyesore.
Compared to Flashpoint Paradox, this seemed hurried and a lost opportunity to showcase an otherwise great story.
