"Clear History (The HBO Films Larry David/Danny McBride joint)"


          

Anyone see this yet?

It was alright...star studded cast but probably not quite as good as it should have been. Was basically like an extended episode of Curb with McBride trying to find ways to fit in and be funny. He had a couple good moments, but for the most part played the background. Keaton basically brought Beetlejuice back for his role.

Other notables: JB Smoove, dude from Mad Men, Kate Hudson, dude from SNL, Liev Schreiber, Amy Ryan, Eva Mendes. Looooots of stars.

then when I finally sat thru & watched it start-to-finish again it was two to three times funnier than it was initially.

it did feel like a curb episode but that is a good thing...he could keep churning out movies like this and i'd watch them.

speaking of curb, is he ever planning on bringing it back or is it done for good?
