"COTDAYMN @ NETWORK (lumet,1976)"
Sat Jun-16-12 05:06 AM by JAESCOTT777

The parting exchange between Dianna and Max might be the
Most etherous in cinema history.

He hit her with the: "and now scenes from next weeks episode"(gotta see it to understand)

I was done LOL

Its amazing how relevant this film still is
Cause the world became exactly like Howard predicted

And the ending?

One of the best films I've ever seen
Incredible

Wow

Also see spike was obviously a fan
Especially of the third act

It slipped my mind that he did Dog Day.

That's a pretty amazing set of films.

Gonna have to plan a marathon of his films.

sell DVD-Rs of it from MGM. Prior to this, there was only the UK DVD. I think it's Connery's finest performance and also top tier Lumet.

Also, for people who'd like to see Lumet with a bold visual style, check out The Hill.

their satire on what reality television would become is closer to accurate than we should be comfortable with.

According to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. (Rocky also >>> Taxi Driver that year, as well as All the President's Men.)

Just a reminder that the Oscars stay fucking up.

But yeah, NETWORK is a fucking masterpiece.

I mean, I know why Rocky won, but at least Network and All The President's Men swept the acting and screenplay awards. the most viable complaint is Taxi Driver getting shut out completely.
