But I will...but there's been a whole load of wars in iraq over Millennia. Alexander the Great?

Anyway, aside from being a nit-picking idiot, Imma put forward a kinda movie - Generation Kill. Ok it's not a movie at all, but it so comprehensively overshadows any other Iraq film I'll hand the gong to it anyway.

Are all the same thing? I mean, the U.S. fought them (I'll give you leeway on the R.W.) And they were fought on American soil, so it's the same thing, right?

Calling The Hurt Locker the best Iraq War movie is kind of like calling Die Hard the best Christmas movie. Although, either way, I still think that Jarhead was a better movie.

I'd go Jarhead and then Three Kings. Hurt Locker might be #3 but I really can't think of any other Iraq War movies besides stinkers like Rendition, Lions for Lambs, and Stop Loss (which could have been an interesting movie but then turned into a lame road trip flick).

Could've been a pretty great film at best if the director didn't make the two stylistic choices he did at the end.

Call it an action flick set in Iraq, or an action movie set in a war theater but it had waaayy too many mistakes for it to be considered a war movie. The movie fucks realism for drama every chance it takes.
