the trailer was ok, but not a whole lot of "wow" moments that made me want to run out and see it
granted, my excitement level for it has been high since about half way through the first movie... but this particular trailer didn't leave me awed in any way, personally. the final war machine scene, yeah that was a little titillating but not enough to make my eyes go all roger rabbit.

6. "The movie kind of petered out for me." In response to Reply # 4
I wasn't a huge fan of the main bad guy and didn't really like the final fight all that much. The final scene "I am Iron Man" was a great end so I was excited to see what they would do with the sequel.
In the trailer, I liked the opening scene, thought the Whiplash/Formula One part was great, seeing the two Iron Man masks close and then them shooting up a number of other robot-things was pretty great as well.
My one fear is the two villain element. I think most superhero films fail when they get bogged down by trying to tell too many stories. Of course, you can never tell that from a trailer but this little sneak peak has me very optimistic about the film.

When The Whipmaster shows up, my interest dipped a bit, I'll admit. Though he looks a lot cooler than he did in those production stills from a while back.

that didn't get me excited to see it. in fact, the SJ clips look questionable. in fact, i've always thought the rourke scene where he's swinging away on the race track looked cheese too. that looked like a teaser, hopefully there's more to be excited about in a full trailer. regardless i'm seeing it of course.

I got very excited when I saw Iron Man and War Machine side by side in battle. I don't go to the theaters much but I'm definitely gonna be there opening weekend for this movie.
