Certain kinds of cheap laughs pretty much always get me. Adults swearing at small children or small children swearing inappropriately (Bobbe'J Thompson in Role Models, for instance) always does it. I don't care what kinda substance, I just get all giggly and shit.
But yeah, I really like that movie. It's reputation probably suffers because it was the follow up to Something About Mary and as good as it is, it's not quite at that level.

I mean, granted, I was like 12 when it came out so pretty much the perfect age, but it was hysterical then and I can't help dying every time I see it again.
I'm with you on Dumb & Dumber at the one spot for sure, though. That movie holds up like a bastard. So many little moments of genius thrown into a stupid screwball comedy. Anyone who doesn't laugh really hard when he shouts, 'we landed on the moon!' must take no joy in life.

I can see that. I'm not as huge fan of either one but remember being slightly more entertained with The Mask. But now that I think about it I might put Bruce Almighty right there with both of those. All 3 are kinda mediocre though when you get down to it. _________________________________
