I'll attack it from a character perspective, though

>* Aquaman vs. Namor
>
>Winner: Aquaman

I'd pick Namor, especially as presented in Sub-Mariner: the Depths. Black Lantern Aquaman might tip the scales (pun intended) back.

>* Elektra vs. Catwoman
>
>Winner: Elektra

my winner: Catwoman as written by Brubaker and drawn by Cooke.

>* Flash vs. Quicksilver
>
>Winner: Flash

still no contest.

>* Robin vs. Jubilee
>
>Winner: Robin

Damien over anybody right now!

>* Silver Surfer vs. Green Lantern
>
>Winner: Silver Surfer

Green Lantern from Sinestro Corps on

>* Thor vs. Captain Marvel
>
>Winner: Thor

Captain Marvel, Jeff Smith version.

>* Batman vs. Captain America
>
>Winner: Batman

Tough one, but I'd give brubaker's Cap the nod over Morrison's Batman

>* Spider-Man vs. Superboy
>
>Winner: Spider-Man

no contest

>* Storm vs. Wonder Woman
>
>Winner: Storm

*yawn*

>* Wolverine vs. Lobo
>
>Winner: Wolverine

Dunno much about Lobo, but his appearances in 52 and more recently Tiny Titans have been fantastic.

>* Superman vs. Hulk
>
>Winner: Superman

*yawn* unless we're counting All-Star Superman.

we get snippets of hard-ass man of action Dick, and snippets of emo, hey-Alfred-I'm-Not-Ready Dick.

Damian's character is clearly the star so far.

A for Storm/Wonder Woman/Superman/Hulk... generally characters that I don't find appealing for more than a few issues at a time. No character is better than the creative team presenting him/her, but I think some are harder to work with than others. (for the record, i feel that way about the X-Men in general, not just Storm.) Gail Simone is someone I've ridden hard for, but I wound up dropping her Wonder Woman relatively quickly.

take your word for it...but I would like to draw your attention to this: "snippets of hard-ass man of action Dick"

I think that might be the single most unintentionally hilarious thing I've ever read....

>Damian's character is clearly the star so far.

I like dude...he's kinda fucked up/evil...but you can tell his heart is in the right place...kinda

I've never been a fan of the hulk, but I'm reading planet hulk now and I'm liking it. And yeah...I've never been a huge fan of Supes, WW, or the X-men for that matter...so I feel you on those guys. But at least with the X-men there are enough characters where you'll find one mutant who's somewhat compelling...

I don't think there's been an unintentional Dick (Grayson) joke on here, like, ever.

They're popping up in comics too but I'm not sure that's a new thing. (Wednesday Comics #2 had the most recent one.)

I had all four of those comics, the DC VS Marvel joints. Very dope. They were still in mint condition, then i let some kid have them before i moved to LA. Wish i would of kept them. They were dope. But i dont think anyone won the Captain America and Batman fight. But the last time i read them were 5 years ago.

>* Aquaman vs. Namor
>
>Winner: Aquaman

Not even out of pity. Namor would whoop that ass so hard Aquaman would turn hydrophobic

>* Elektra vs. Catwoman
>
>Winner: Elektra

Zombie ninja assassin vs a burglar. You tell me.

>* Flash vs. Quicksilver
>
>Winner: Flash

Quicksilver is really really fast, but Flash is basically speed personified

>* Robin vs. Jubilee
>
>Winner: Robin

Which Robin we talking about here? I'm trying to figure out the severity of Jubilee's inevitable beatdown

>* Silver Surfer vs. Green Lantern
>
>Winner: Silver Surfer

Ooh, this is actually a good one. Green Lantern has made some pretty major moves sinc 13 years ago. Still not sure he's ready to take on The Power Cosmic though.

>* Thor vs. Captain Marvel
>
>Winner: Thor

Thor is a God but Captain Marvel is like a minivan full of Gods. On the other hand, if Thor can seize control the 'Shazam!' lightning bolt, this one ends before it even begins.

>* Batman vs. Captain America
>
>Winner: Batman

All day every day*

* What's funny is that both characters are 'dead' at the moment and have been replaced by their respective proteges. I think Bucky could take out Dick, but Bruce probably prepared for that and has some sort of Bucky Cap Protocols programmed into the Batmobile that Dick don't even know about. In that case, it's Batmobile>Bucky>Dick

>* Spider-Man vs. Superboy
>
>Winner: Spider-Man

Spider-Man may be my favorite comic character of all time, but... No.

>* Storm vs. Wonder Woman
>
>Winner: Storm

Who gives a fuck

>* Wolverine vs. Lobo
>
>Winner: Wolverine

Hmmm. This is like the unstoppable force meeting the immovable object. I picture these guys just scrapping and healing into eternity. Tie.

>* Superman vs. Hulk
>
>Winner: Superman

Superman beats everybody. Sometimes with singing.

hero of all time. Not to mention the best detective in all of comic books...

We're talking Dick Grayson, not Dick Tracey.

He'll set up on Bucky and put that nigga down like Travis did Yeller...

Granted, I don't know shit about Silver Surfer except that he's a chromed out, career layabout, bald headed bitch, all of which speaks poorly against the man who became Parallax and decimated the galactic police force single-handed. Multi-ringed, sure, but still single-handed.

The fuck is an intergalactic beach bum gonna do against that?

>* Aquaman vs. Namor

I have never really seen Aquaman in action, so this might change post BN. For right, now, though, Namor can talk to fishes AND has a bad attitude. Winner: NAMOR

>* Elektra vs. Catwoman

Winner: I DON'T CARE!!

>* Flash vs. Quicksilver

Winner: I refuse to dignify this by naming him. Quicksilver would have 2500 spikes yammed through his head before he took a step.

>* Robin vs. Jubilee

Winner: Damian Wayne, in about three minutes. Dick Grayson, in about three seconds. Fuck a light show.

>* Silver Surfer vs. Green Lantern
>
>Winner: Silver Surfer

Winner: SILVER SURFER. Look I love Hal Jordan, but the Power Cosmic is the premier power in comics. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Surfer#Powers_and_abilities Post Annhilation he took down TWO Galactus-level dudes.

>* Thor vs. Captain Marvel

Damn, damn, damn. I guess Winner: THOR because he controls the lightning, and he could keep Billy from bringing it down. Even in a straight up fight, Thor's a God and Captain Marvel can't beat Supes.

>* Batman vs. Captain America

Winner: http://board.okayplayer.com/okp.php?az=show_topic&forum=23&topic_id=26079&mesg_id=26079&listing_type=search

>* Spider-Man vs. Superboy

Winner: Who cares?

Winner: Trick, please. Make all the thunderstorms you want. Diana flies through all of it and punches your face.

>* Wolverine vs. Lobo

Winner: Lobo. See 52.

>* Superman vs. Hulk

Winner: Supes in about 10 seconds. I'd rather see the classic "Who You Got" between Supes and Thor.

And just wait till the Hal / 'Nestro team up in BN. Ain't nothing gonna be able to fuck with that.

In response to Reply # 21

RING: Subject is showing a bitchitude level of 98.4%, approaching lethal levels of bitchiness.

Mo'fucking Dr. Doom stole that ho's power, you telling me Hal "Fuck tha Galactic Police" Jordan couldn't body that dude? Anything Doom can do, Hal can do better -- believe that shit.

Even if the bald-headed wannabe Keanu Reeves DID turn Hal's ring into clam chowder, Hal would then proceed to give his bitch ass a face full of deadly soup. No fear, did we cover that? And when Hal DID go off the grid, you know Rayner, Gardner, Stewart, Kilowog and 'em would be rushing to the spot to solve the mystery, and let that poozer know what they think of his lack of a REAL job.

Green Lanterns put in work, that dude stay scheming on Sue Richards ass while trying to catch the next gnar gnar comet passing through. Miss me with that shit.

dc has chosen to try to make superman interesting. marvel has tried to appeal to the lowest common denominator. red hulk just killed surfer and punched out uatu. i guess he's more powerful than those two, huh?

in final crisis, superman showed the ability, plausibly, to beam himself through the fourth wall and fight the page the comic was drawn on, which wanted to destroy all comics. i'll let buck explain all star superman to you. superman has, plausibly, punked darkseid and doomsday, who is basically the hulk on steroids. superman is a god. hulk is an angry guy.
