Tomorrow is the first ep - who's excited? I love this shit and I'm excited to see where they go w/this arc.
I think w/him having NO protection it'll be interesting to get to see some of his old enemies gunning for him. Also, since they're leaving him alone, does that mean he gets his job back?

What's the premise? I've never seen it but someone tried to explain it to me, but it sounded like they had no idea what they are talking about, almost like t hey hadnt watched it, I had questions and they looked at me like...huh? But swore it was the greatest show.
Michael Westin is a big time CIA spy, then out of nowhere he gets burned (spy parlance for fired)
He wakes up in Miami - his home town - w/no money, no personal history, nothing. His whole life has been wiped.
The whole 1st season is spent trying to find out why he was burned. At the end of the 1st season he finds out. The whole second season is spent dealing w/the ppl who burned him and trying to get out of it. At the end of the 2nd he does.
So now he's STILL burned, but he's out from under their thumb. The bad news is that they've put him back on the 'map' so now all the ppl who he's pissed off over the years can now find him.

I think some of the excellence of this show is in Westin's "Tricks of the Spy Trade" voice overs and obviously Sam and Fiona.
I'd suggest catching a couple of episodes this season (it's easy to jump into) or renting Season 1 on DVD. I was hooked easily after the first three or four eps.

Fiona - his hot ex girlfriend. Chic is muy fine, she's a demolition expert. Still got a big thing for Mike (and vice versa). Sam - his "connections" guy, played awesomely by Bruce Campbell. Fiona and Sam are his team on his various jobs (think A-Team). Mike Westin's Mom - I forget her name, really good too. There's a couple other recurring roles, but that's the three you need to know.

the management put out some kind of fake charges on himon him, and he didn't have any ID or anything to show who he was or where he has suddenly showed up from.
I missed the last few seconds on the dvr, overall it was kinda off balance, but the season 2 opener was the same way and it got better

folks are out there chillin in the water, and they see what appears to be a person swimming in from way outside the safe zone...it's Fla, they got immigrants tryin to get in illegally all the time....dudes makes it to shore, in a wifebeater and slacks and almost passes out in front of a lil kid's sandcastle...the lifeguards ALONE gotta be thinking "WTF" and call the police to make sure this wierd guy is on the up and up ...dude is walkin around lookin crazy and he spots the cops, bolts (it's not exactly what happened, but i'm looking at it from the cops POV)...now keep in mind that later we find out the management dropped salt to aid in Mike gettin arrested, so it all made sense after you think about it....but the fact that he sum in alone and all them people saw it made him questionable to the police, then he runs....i still wasn't feeling how they all had guns drawn waitin on him outside, when they saw NO WEAPON on the guy, but i'm guessin the management had him marked as armed and dangerous...

A bit anti-climatic, but considering how great last season's finale was, I'm not surprised. I knew something was up with his friend the second he showed up. The friend's girlfriend Marta looked mad familiar. Not the same Marta from AD, is it? Either way, I'm sure the show will pick up steam.

i think she popped up all the sudden because Michael told "management" to go fuck themselves, so they were no longer protecting him from his enemies and i took that to mean police/government types as well. now that they are gone, it opens the door for people like her to walk in.
so glad to see em bring back Brennan. him n Michael got a good chemistry (not as good as the chem Mike and Victor had, shame they had to kill him off tho).
season opener dialogue wasn't so strong, but the smartassness and wit came back with the last two eps. shit was pretty damn funny in some parts.

i admit there's a geekout factor seein ur fav actors from other tv shows pop up (Dutchboy, Tricia Helfer from BSG, Michael Shanks from Stargate). but it's even better seein em all be badasses and breaking away from the characters they're better known for. plus it's fun as fuck.

She'll be back, probably even this season. But I'm glad the season has been picking up. The first couple of episodes were so so to me, but it's definitely getting back to the quality in the first half of Season 2.

that's right, the summer finale is Thursday.
Should be amazing if the rest of this season gives us any clues. This show has been AWESOME this whole season. I'm looking for Michael to finally make the fiona/job choice in this episode...it's about time he came out and picked a side.
I don't see how it's even POSSIBLE for him to try to get back into the CIA now. It sucks that that means he lost all his money, but he seems to be surviving.
I LOVED it. I loved how he capped Strickler, but in a way dude really WAS trying to help him.
