i remember being down on last season and by the end i loved it...that Paris battle was incredible. This season has been pretty good but i'm not sure where they're going with some of the storylines.

At some point I'll bite into the new series and probably watch it non-stop until the end, but until I start it struggles to get to the top of the queue.
That whole approach and battle at Paris was one of the most immersive pieces of medieval drama I've ever seen. Action scenes don't normally get me hyped, but man... everything about that 10 minutes.

Checked it out based on this thread and I'm almost done with season 1. I'm of the minority here and don't find this show impressive at all. In fact I think alot of the writing thus far and directing is pretty bad.

It got more popular with each season and you can tell History gave them more money to play with which resulted in better storylines and direction. Some of the battle scenes now are on Game of Thrones levels.
