I guess everyone just dislikes it and is being respectful.

Fair enough.

by Alchemist and Hit-Boy

I also appreciate the brevity so it doesn't feel bloated

The tracks that are a definite miss for me are the one with Snoop and the final track

The rest is perfectly good to press play on while driving around pretending I'm a drug lord while I get groceries on a Sunday

Good album, particularly the Alchemist-produced tracks. Benny got bars and one of my favorite voices of the past decade or so. He’s top of the list of cats I want to listen rap about stuff I’ve never experienced in my 42 years (since we’re being honest in this thread).

He's a stellar rapper (not good...stellar).

But his boss persona things sounds forced and gets boring
in a hurry.

But good album. Dude can rap like a demon and the beats
are mostly okay or better

Overall it's solid it's just missing the Griselda feel.

It's not like I'm against expansion, Machine & FlyGod have went outside the box...but they always have enough records that bring it full circle, this album doesn't have that.

That said it doesn't fall for all the same pitfalls major label rap albums from actual good rappers have, only one song feels forced and it's at the very end, just about 0 girl records, none of the features sounds bad.

Nothing bad, but not much is memorable....doubt it will be in rotation whenever Conway drops his next one.

Tana talk 3 is still my favorite from him. As good as his later output is, it still falls short of that one. It Reminds me of Nas in a way.

And yeah - Alchemist/Daringer is the move.

Tana Talk 4 was sonically and technically really good too, but I guess that likable, grimy hungry underdog vibe is hard to recreate.
