"Do Y'all Believe DJ Scratch Never Heard "I Went for Mine"?"

When I first heard Busta's "New York Shit" in 2006 I thought they were paying homage to Diamond D. Years later Scratch said he never heard Diamond's track because he was too busy in 1992. Now he's saying he had the beat since 1988 and tried to give it to EPMD. Y'all buying this story? I find it hard to believe he never heard Diamond's "I Went for Mine" at all from 92 to 06.

kinda hard to believe it he never heard diamond's track especially with the circles he runs in.

it would be more believable if a southern or westcoast based producer said it

its more believable he did the track in 88 for EPMD

but both songs and artists are great which is all that the really matters
