https://www.theguardian.com/music/2019/jun/11/radiohead-release-hours-of-hacked-songs-to-benefit-extinction-rebellionApparently someone got a hold of Thom Yorke's collection of tracks related to OK Computer and ransomed them for 150K.The band apparently said 'F*ck You!' by releasing the tracks anyway, allowing fans to buy them all for only $23 bucks. Apparently they've been on the Web for free for some time as well.Crazy.
just grabbed itits...unwieldy. hah! seems like some gems may be buried in here thosomeone needs to chop these 18 tracks up to like a dozen or more eachheres a comprehensive list of what all's therehttps://docs.google.com/document/d/1kA8u6UhjbutZ-b7TXzmX4qkOTg6nGC1vPg50WwCcZyo/preview
I love how savvy they are with this kinda thing
thought it was a good idea to fuck with Thom Yorke??you only need to watch one interview with him to fully understand that that motherfucker doenst play games
like fuck it. its good. we were looking for a reason to put it out anyway, asshole.
that would have done this. Could you imagine if someone now had grabbed some DAT's from the 2001 era from Dre? I can't imagine he'd be as cavalier and laid back about the leak as Radiohead. Dre's entitled to take care of his legacy as he wants but his reaction likely would contrast with Radiohead's quite a bit.
