Good to hear Soulchild move into a more contemporary sound without the Burger King hat, weird-sounding autotune, and alter ego. I felt bad for dude during that "Husel" era, because I thought a few of the songs were dope, but the way he went about it all was just odd... as if he had trouble fully accepting himself, or at the very least, had far too much fear that others wouldn't accept him to the extent that it stopped him from just... being. This direction seems more natural and less jarring. Hope it works out for them both.
