Luther's version may be better, but for Lelah to cover that song and do it justice is maybe a bigger feat than doing the original.

I like Luther's version even though I've heard Lalah Hathaway's cover and it's good but I don't care for Lalah's voice that much; I remember she did an album with Joe Sample and even then it was her voice that made me not like the album that much.

Like I said, she's not a bad singer at all, she can definitely sing, but to me her voice isn't as pleasant to the ear as it might be to others.
