Nice work. Smooth Mix. I just listened to hard to earn this weekend. It, in itself sounds like a mixtape with the interludes and premo's scratching.... so Kudos for taking it and making a different but dope mix of the tracks.

Thanks Maro....appreciate the feedback. I tried to walk the fine line of keeping the integrity of the original album, while trying to add some other elements to give the listener a different experience than just playing the album.

Thanks for this. Such a dope album to revisit. Love the Primo sound bytes. This is my favorite gang Starr album for many reasons. One reason is this is the album where Premier introduced his signature punchy drums (see Alongwaytogo & the Jeru part of Speak Ya Clout).

Yeah, this is the album that signaled his departure from jazz-samples, and into his 'raw/gritty' phase....my favorite GS album too (just barely though)

There's also a Black Moon one, which would be the most similar to this one, because it also has OG samples etc

Naw...I'd be interested to see this too. I have a feeling it was done by Nahright, which is now offline. I was trying to find that too when I was making this mixtape
