"ever heard "new" music from a real artist in a dream?"
I just heard an alternate version of Tekzilla while catching some Zs. Com's verse and the track were the same, but it opened with a verse from Diamond D, who was rapping from the perspective of the dude Com eventually beats down at the end. it was pretty dope, haha.
this isn't the first time I've experienced this. anyone else?
(I know this post could potentially go in General, but I rarely venture into those parts)

I've had some weird ass dreams but I don't think I've actually heard new or different songs from artists in dreams, usually meeting them or have weird conversations with them but that's about it.

...i go lucid alot and end up either playing basketball or record shopping in my dreams. So i not only do i hear stuff, i also end up looking at records that don't exist, then wake up disappointed that it wasn't real.
More than once, I have dreamed that Outkast made another album at some point after Idlewild. 10 The Hard Way ended up being the actual title. Royal Flush was on it. 3000 didn't sing a lot. The cover was weird. And for some reason, only I liked it. And even with me, it had to grow on me. The complaint was that it was 'almost too straight-forward'.
It damn near feels like a dream that D'Angelo actually finished an album and released it. I had to retire it for a while after wearing it the hell out. But shiiiid...that actually happened! And I heard Another Life live. Yeah, shit was like a dream.

it's wild, isn't it? but with me, it's usually a one-off; I've never heard the same tracks over multiple dreams — certainly not enough times for something to "grow on me." that's dope.
Not specifically that of course. Also one recently about a Dragon's Dogma DLC where u play as George Costanza and get ANGERY at the NPC chatter. The information could be relevant
