There used to be so many unbalanced groups/ duos. In many of these cases (Mobb Deep/ outkast/ LONS ) where at some point the heavy featured role or anchor of the group switches. In some ways the mentality of the black community allowed for such cooperative growth; people liked seeing their mans shine. Now, not so much.
