I remember reading the Spin magazine which hyped him back in 2010 and then hearing Exhibit A & Exhibit C.
He was next to me but I can't keep doing getting my interest up at any sign of new music. He's like the really beautiful, interesting woman who you don't see but every so often. She flirts with you and maybe gets you to think something could happen. But then she's crickets for another six months.
I can't keep falling for his hype. I'm stronger than this.

I don't know, I don't like dude either, but I can see how kats got hopes of an artist to release something, I'm still waiting for Nas & Premier to release an album together, or Jeru & Premier to work on another album together, or Kev Brown & Grap Luva to release an album together.

I think that "void" in rap that some of us were waiting for Jay Elec to fill, was filled by Kendrick and others...there's really nothing that hip hop is missing right now. There's room for Jay, by the whole "savior of hip hop" thing is unnecessary now. Just do your thing. That said, even tho his work ethic may be laughable, dude was dope. I think its kinda weird when people act like he was a hack or a phony. Maybe he was a phony messiah, but he's the real deal as a rapper. I'm too busy listening to new releases and squeezing in some oldies but goodies to keep hope alive for him to drop, but I'll tell ya, if Act II ever does drop, I'm listening. And I think it'll be good enough.
