Why? Vanessa Hudgens pulls a Patty Duke in Netflix’s The Princess Switch, a holiday romance about a British princess and an American baker who swap lives for a couple of life-changing days.

Why? His signature song, and running joke since at least the 1975 episode of SNL he hosted. I thought you had played it for him, but the spreadsheet says you did not.
James Lo Grover Washington Jr.'s "Split Second (Act II, The Bar Scene)" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsF-Esgj5RQ REASON: She's in SECOND ACT. That and smooth jazz is the best.
Robert Klein Screaming Jay Hawkins' "I Put A Spell On You" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwXai-sgM-s REASON: One of his biggest albums and skits was his debut, CHILD OF THE 50'S, and thus I give him one of the best songs of the decade.

JB is right, Child of the 50's is a very important comedy record - really one of the first of the "new" wave of stand-up comedy style that started around that time - a more personal/less jokey-joke style, with personal politics thrown in.

Why? Her new film is called "Vox Lux" and I got nothing else right now.
-- Dennis Miller can you just yell insults at the fucker on the way out? I know 9/11 changed a lot of people's outlook, but he picked the wrong one and LEANED into it. Fuck that guy - he was O'Reilly's jester for how many years??
Dennis Miller Split Enz's "One Step Ahead" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NduGJ0F5sdI REASON: One of my favorite Split Enz songs, I'm sure he'll make some political reference but it's a way to say he is ahead of everyone/everything else.
I was originally going to suggest Split Enz's "Dirty Creature" but thought Fallon would look at the title and be like "what is this?" due to the tight connection with SNL. Thus, I focus on the first verse and bridge:
"One step ahead of you stay in motion, keep an open mind Love is a race won by two Your emotion, my solitude
If I stop I could lose my head So I'm losing you instead Either way I'm confused You slow me down, what can I do? There's one particular way I have to choose"

Regina King "Down By The Riverside" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVXReRfZCM8 REASON: She portrays Sharon Rivers in IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK and while I know the spiritual meaning of the song, I think it can apply due to the background of the movie.
In other words, I want my suggestions for this episode to be: 1) one part slightly naughty 2) one part holy

Armie Hammer Elvis Costello & The Attraction's "Oliver's Army" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrjHz5hrupA REASON: Name recognition, plus the Hawaiian connection in the video.
