Only ran this joint once but it's probably the best Masta Ace record since A Long Hot Summer. Dude is 53 and still sounds as fresh as he ever has. Anyone else peep this yet?

I've been counting down the days to this since Breukelen came out and this is WELL worth the wait.
Kind of wish there was one last song after the "Moms(Skit)". On Spotify, the album goes right into the Breukelen single so maybe a Breukelen Remix because the beat is SO dope and the story could use a real 'he made it' moment to wrap up the story. It's also the second song on the album and a remix w/ dope bk features (actual Smif-n-Wessun verses?) would serve as a great bookend.
So many dope joints on this and it works seamlessly start to finish
This is about to get continuous burn

A lot of you players ain't okay.
We would have been better off with an okaycivics board instead of an okayactivist board

and 'Disposable Arts' 10 years after it dropped. I even went on to check out the EMC joints. He brings that familiar feeling of good hip hop without sounding too dated. I loved the NPR tiny desk performance. I am excited for the new project.
Smooth ass butter Hip Hop Masta Ace style. Listened to it in the whip, the beats go. Masta Ace sounds like the vet he is. 50+ and his cadence is impeccable. I'm starting to really enjoy how some of my favorite emcess are sounding as time goes on.

The quality is still the same, and hip-hop heads know the deal, but it just sucks that albums like this don’t even have a chance to be mentioned among the classics.
If this dropped in 96-98 it would very much be seen as one of the dopest albums ever.
This shit is beautiful from top to bottom and imo Ace’s best album due to the fact there were always 1-2 joints I didn’t love on DA and LHS.
Marco is also a very underrated producer and he should be getting more props.
And fuck if it’s over a decade old, Nostalgia would’ve sounded dope as the last track on this album to bring it full circle.
