having trouble IDing a joint off of a dance/electronic compilation CD I had in the 00s that I would really like to bump again...

the production is pretty scant -- not much goin' on except for a synth swell and some heavy drums. occasionally there's a really cheap-sounding saxophone line.
searching those lyrics on the net just leads to new age/metaphysics sites, haha. anyone here know? what's the solution??
I've been going thru tracklists of the random compilation CDs I remember having during that time... BBE's Beats & Pieces, the City Lounge series (Paris Lounge, New York Lounge, etc.), various DJ Kicks comps... I used to get free promos from my job at the time, and comps like this were all over the place back then, so there's no telling WHAT it was on.
*sigh*
on the bright side, it's a nice nostalgia trip hearing some of these songs after so long, so there's that.
