Roy Hargrove?
He was my favorite trumpeter when he was active. In this present day and age others have passed him by. It will take a lot for him to get back in the upper echelon.

I liked his work and his playing but he was more impactful as a bridge/ambassador, especially where Hip Hop and Jazz are concerned.
