Probably because I tend to agree. Songs like this, Role Model, etc. were perfect for him. Bouncy sorta beats with enough breathing room for him to do his thing. It's when he gets on the dark, brooding, emotionless shit that his lyrics fall flat.
Off top some examples of songs that were perfect for his style, with good-to-great beats:

There's more but those are just some early career gems off the top that were perfect for him.

Never been an Eminem fan so outside of his first two albums and of course the big songs that you couldn't avoid I don't follow his music.
Never heard a single MGK song till "Rap Devil" so have nothing to go off other than that one song.
I don't "care" about either artist outside of taking the time to listen to their respective diss tracks and then type these couple of sentences.
MGK's song was better to me and I have no problem admitting I no longer know what counts as slaying or murking another rapper. I thought Pusha T got Drake and was told I was wrong and it's happening again here with MGK in regards to Eminem haha.
