That bass is mean on this cut. I think the credits I’ve seen have three bassist that worked on the album Nathan East is one of them. A Roy Ayers project whole album is good

reconcile that I remember so much music from that era that had a different, more polished feel (all that Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Kashif stuff) and stuff like this that's kind "rough."


It messes with my memories of the era - but it's good to know about it.
