to the second one.
The Truth is like a 6 out of 5 track but The second one had that De La Track, and that MIke Patton Track that JOhn Oates Track AND that Lord FInesse/Linkin park song.
Somehow, El-P who I like managed to appear on underwhelming songs on both volumes

Nah bro...peep these...part 1 all day like Harry Belafonte...
"Magnetizing" (featuring Del tha Funkee Homosapien)
"Waterworld" (featuring Encore)
"Once Again (Here to Kick One for You)" (featuring Grand Puba and Sadat X)
"The Truth" (featuring Róisín Murphy and J-Live)
"Holy Calamity (Bear Witness II)" (featuring DJ Shadow and DJ Quest)
"The Projects (P Jays)" (featuring Dave and Del tha Funkee Homosapien)
"Metaphysical" (featuring Miho Hatori and Mike D)
....those tracks and it all being linked with Prince Paul's tightly linked skit, puts it over the top...as far as EL-P track, yeah, virtually unlistenable...never dug Mike Patton track...

Did a show with Jeru and Dan the Automator right after HBMS dropped
Jeru kept calling him Handsome Dan. Shit was hilarious. Dan was nice as shit, damn near too nice. We have a show in Richmond and the owner of an Italian restaurant was a huge Automator fan. Brought all his albums to the show to get them signed then begged Dan to come to the restaurant the next day.
So we go the the restaurant and they bring out every dish on the menu. Dan ate so much. While we were eating Dan tells us about this project he was working on where the band was cartoons with some dude who I wasn't familiar with.
oh, and Dan was terrible as a performer...lol. Beats were dope but he was a gotdamn softie on the mic. "Hiiii, thanks for liking my beats".. we were like "awe damn, this nigga shoulda opened the show"
we switched the order of the show in DC because Jeru's live show was fucking flames.
