BTW, how old were you when you joined? I'm 41 was like 23 or 24 when I first started coming here. You're 34 now and you are a Charter Member so you must have been crazy young when you signed up.

i joined in early 2000 when i was in 11th grade, so i woulda been 16yrs old. been posting for 18 freaking years man lol. that's over half my current lifespan. still freaks me out when i think about it.

Like we've all grown up around each other and plenty of the posters have become good friends online and IRL.
We root for each other and even though we sometimes go back and forth, usually it isn't vindictive or ignorant.
Part of me wishes that the place were busier or that the conversations were more wide-ranging, but the fact that you, me, and a lot of people on here keep coming back day to day shows something. Especially given how much Internet culture has changed since the turn of the century.
