"Sword Play" is off of Noveliss' "Kenjitsu Under The Moonlight" EP he put out last year, Noveliss is one of the members of Clear Soul Forces, seems like he's the only one still releasing music while the group hasn't really done much in a while.
I remember posting something here last year about another EP he did "Dilla Instinct" where he was rapping over old J-Dilla beats that was nothing but dopeness, if you haven't heard it, you need to definitely peep that out as well, my favorite song off of this is "What You Got For This".

had a few projects that got better each time out, but sort of didn't take that next step with a specific big song/project/video/etc.
I remember them around the same time World's Fair came out, who I was also a fan of.
Seemed like the biggest thing holding them back was the lack of a clear cut "star"/leader/best rapper. when one person doesn't stick out, even if it's because everyone's pretty good, it feels like it brings down how much i specifically remember them

there's so many "dope" rappers out now it's wild, but if you don't have someone in the group who stands out (not necessarily from each other in terms of skill, but something that makes them unique) you go in the pile with the 50 other rappers putting out "cool" music.

**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

haven't gotten into PP7's yet. Those are the only two they have on Spotify. Funny thing is, neither of the two songs I linked above, Get's No Better or Knuckle Up, appear on either album. There's a ton of songs on YT that aren't...so these dudes have mad songs.
