Cate Blanchett Eazy-E's "No More ?'s" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7y2ZfyRF_g REASON: Here on the west coast, Eazy-E's debut album was huge, where Side 1 was the hardcore shit while Side 2 was meant to be "radio friendly". However, Side 2 had "No More ?'s" with the line "girls ain't nothin' but female dogs to me/bitches, I'm sorry 'bout that verse" so it was the one song on Side 2 was "raw".
However, people loved the second verse of the song, as Eazy-E talked about going to someones house in a mellow, laid back voice. That verse made a lot of people around here want to rob homes. I would prefer if that second verse is used. https://youtu.be/S7y2ZfyRF_g?t=1m11s
Or if it's the third, more gangst verse, a line could be changed for Cate: "There's a store but don't point Walk inside, case the joint One man behind the counter, another in the back Go out to the car and load the gat Grabbed the ski mask, here's the task Go in broke, come out with cash (Were you slick?) Yeah, you gotta be cunnin' Told Ice Cube to leave the car runnin' Walked in, said: "this is a robbery" Didn't need the money, it's just a hobby Fill the bag, homeboy, don't lag I want money, beer, and a pack of Zig-Azags The man in the back had a camera so he came out to test his stamina against *Catie B*, but he took one Fell to the floor, so I ran back to the bucket, then I said: "Punch it" Took the gun, and then dumped it I'm not like Robin Hood, cause I want more Steal from the rich, hang with the poor My pockets are fat, you see, it don't matter to me I feel like nobody is badder than me (Is all that true ?) I don't lie You see I'm not mister nice guy"
It's hard to believe this song is 30 years old but it remains one of the best songs of my post-high school year.
Guy Fieri Mobb Deep's "Flavor For The Non-Believers" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AqOBCq44iw REASON: Since he is the self-proclaimed king of "Flavortown", I go to the last song on Mobb Deep's debut album on 4th & B'Way and the song that was on their demo when they were Unsigned Hype in THE SOURCE. I also considered Mad Flava's "Feel The Flava" and Shadz Of Lingo's "Mad Flava" but chose Mobb Deep.
