Also, since Steven Mandel recently said he'd like to work with Eddie Vedder one day, I figured I would help push things towards that way. I used to not like Eddie Vedder since he replaced Andrew Wood in Mother Love Bone but when I learned he was not just some random guy from San Diego but he was a surfer, that made me change my perspective, although that took a long time too until they released YIELD. Anyway, I like Mr. Vedder now.

I was looking for a song about "another island" but someone, an artist whose music I grew up with kept on popping up.
In other words, he will remain the same Jimmy Buffet but he's looking for new scenery, thus "another place". The chorus is perfect for this.
