So I caught the August Greene performance on NPR Tiny Desk and I'm wondering how this is gonna play out. Will this music be too much of a hybrid or nah? I mean, I liked what I heard but something seemed disjointed.

If they deviate from the "inspirational" tone of the first couple of songs it could be great, just not sure if that's gonna be their sole focus. And for the record, I love those first couple tracks (the Brandy joint and "Black Kennedy") I just hope there is some variety over the course of a full album.

Went back to NPR to listen again...Samora Pinderhughes singing is destroying this group for me. Black Kennedy/Brandy get a yes, Audra Day-no. I REALLY want to like these collabs but something is just not doing it for me. TheRealTPayne
