"Producers on Immobilarity"

Mike "Trauma" D.
Jugrnaut
Vo and Pop
Triflyn

...who are these people?? Was Rae trying to make a statement that he can still be a star without the Wu sound?

(Shoutout to Pete Rock and Carlos Broady for Sneakers and Yae Yo though)

was this part of the 'RZA lost beats in the flood so we had to start over' shit?

Was he tryna help out local cats?

Was RZA being a diva and making him wait for beats/Rae wanted to 'strike while the iron is hot'?

I never understood why the production on that album was SUCH a departure from what he'd already established.

w/o big "names" AND the beat will be generic. like, i get that sometimes people will get an average beat from producer "X" even if it's not fire but being able to list them as working on it goes a ways in promotion.

OR when folks like GUnit used to find unknown producers out the woodwork but it would be a good beat from them.

but sometimes i'll see an artist like rae have just super generic songs w/an artist i've never heard of & I always wonder how that comes about. w/the rae example, i'm sure he was feeling the beats at the time but how did they even end up w/that look?

and Masta Killa...that shit was weird. especially GZA. He has the worst ear for beats out of all of them lol..made no sense esp when you got cats like 4th and True Master in the camp! In the case of Meth I mean his albums post T2. Beneath the Surface sounds better now than it did then, I'll admit that..
