madlib on the mic = highly underrated


I'm not saying he's goat, top 5 or even top 10 but I am saying I love it when he gets on the mic and some of my favorite verses are his..... loopdigga, microphone mathematics, louder... my list goes on.

I definitely would rather hear production from him over emceeing.

I am not the one to throw a fit when he does rhyme. He’s definitely one of the better producers on the mic.

To me, Quasimodo managed to be more interesting on the mic than way more technically gifted rappers.

that shit was soooo crazy how it was explained how Madlib would lay those verses. It was all analog and laid with his regular voice over the beats slowed down. And the playback at regular speed gave birth to Quas. Innovative as shit.
