"Raekwon on "Box In Hand" appreciation "

His delivery on that verse is unique as hell imo. He like stops or pauses during a crazy verse, then picks it back up. Another crazy thing is Ghost best on that song but Rae add so much to it.

For me that's Method Man's song. He bodied that joint (on the album).

Rae set it off nice for sure but man Meth showed his ass on that song. That's an example of why he's my favorite.

One of my favorite joints on that album, and from the Wu as a whole

then you've got Assassination Day which doesn't have Ghost on it.
(A Wu specialty I enjoy... Ghost's Wisdom Body being one of my fav joints)

Faster Blade... Rae solo returning the favor.

incredible album. Top 5 Wu solo for me. Maybe top 3.

It's filled with so many great records. Supreme Clientele might be better but Ironman is my favorite.

Soul Controller and Marvel close the album out is such heady and cinematic way. I feel the same way about North Star on the purple tape.

If I'm not mistaken Soul Controller was the closer on some initial versions.. maybe cut because of sample issues? I got mine years later with no Soul Controller and just Marvel as the end, which imo is kind of anti-climactic. Soul Controller is that reflective dope shit, esp with the Carlito's Way & Usual Suspects samples
