With the recent releases of classics like Brown Sugar, OK Computer, Joshua Tree, and Purple Rain...let’s discuss our favorite reissues.
Sometimes labels get them right...sometimes they get them wrong...cough...Illmatic...
What are your favorite in terms of;
Quality - did it improve or maintain the sound or ruin it? Bonus Material - worthwhile gems or worthless heard before mixes? Packaging - did the label put the money into the design or simply slap “remastered” on the cover...I see you Death Row!

Particularly in jazz music. On CD’s (which I stopped buying) the quality seemed not to have that sound it was means to have. Which is why I prefer vinyl.
They should just put bonus material on a separate record all by itself.
Man they just put remastered on that shit and sold it.
