I grew up on De La but if I'm pulling out old hip hop I'm much more likely to grab Beatnuts nowadays. And ya...the lyrics are pure nihilism. I guess I think of it like rocknroll. Obviously won't listen to Beatnuts around the kids for sure. Not even the teens. That's my rocknroll dad personal time. Y'know....'busting nuts in bitches stomachs and then leaving them stranded' type of vibe lol. Dog will hunt
