I'm about to listen to this for the next few days....
You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I feel like more so than in the past that's been the case for albums I was checking for in 2017 (Tanya Morgan, Skyzoo, Tristate/Oh No, lojii/swarvy come to mind).
And I don't know what's going on at Mello Music but they've had releases that came out months ago by stream/digital with physical pre-order dates that keep shifting further out. Right now looks like Sept. 29th will have physical copies for Open Mike Eagle, Ginsu Dean & Wise Intelligent, Perceptionists, and Planet Asia & Apollo Brown. In the case of Mello Music I guess I'm "supporting" with my Google Play streams, I go to shows if they come to AZ, and I'll most likely get these physical copies even after complaining, but I don't really understand the logic behind releasing an album digitally months before the physical release and then dropping those physical releases all on or near the same date?
__ I don't like the beat anymore because its just a loop. ALC didn't FLIP IT ENOUGH!
Flip it enough? Flip these. Flip off. Go flip some f*cking burgers.(c)Kno

Her flow doesn't make me pay attention and I tune out after a few songs even though I know she's talented. She commands a stage live but I don't know if I can' do an album of hers. Never listened to a full project.

couldn't get through the entire album during my commute.. lost interest and switched to the Red Bull Music Academy Paris album with beats produced by The Alchemist.. I can't even understand French rap but it sounds more interesting than Rapsody..

Knock On My Door has been on repeat, but the entire album is flames. Love the beat switches and the Moonchild presence. My kinda hip-hop. This might be her best project.

I knew she was capable of a good album but this has gone above and beyond my expectations. This is one of the best things I have heard this year so far.

Gotta give it a few more spins, but this one loses power toward the end for me except for the last song. so far I have more from the first that stay on repeat.

Lyrically Rap is so dope for speaking on things that matters, no need to get further into that, flow is playful but tight, comes across confident yet sensitive, great balance! Beatwise we done playin it safe, LOTS of different sounds that serves as a great album in itself - sh*t, I wouldve prefered mo straight boom bap but thats just me! Props to the soul Council and JAMLA for daring to switch it up! Def up there as an AOTY contender!!!
