This may be his best album yet. One of the best albums of the year so far IMO. A lot more somber and serious than his past work (which I also enjoy a lot) - probably due to how close he is to the content (destruction of Robert Taylor Homes in Chicago). "TLDR (Smithing", "My Auntie's Building" and "(How Could Anybody) Feel At Home".

you can tell how much the content means to him IMO, production wise it's fantastic as well, however, so was his last record with Paul White. Right now I couldn't say which one is better, but my initial reaction to this has been stronger probably.

Dark Comedy has ended up being one of my most listened to hip hop albums over the last couple of years. I've only listened to this one once, so haven't had the time to absorb it. But it sounded great off the first listen. The production is a little more low key and the content is more serious, though still some funny moments. I don't remember the exact tracks, but the middle of the album sounded fantastic. I look forward to listening again tonight.
