If it was an mpc, I bet you'd tell him it's not REALLY an mpc if it was anything but a 60 or 3000, since Roger Linn wasn't involved.

I've seen clips of guys doing cool stuff with the pads....but I don't think I've ever seen someone really pull off a natural 'drummer' style like that. Other clips that have impressed me are a bit more gimmicky....almost an athletic type of performance. This is impressive not because it's mind-blowingly complicated or technical but because it's just so natural and subtle and in-the-pocket. He's not showing off y'know?

That's the same thoughts I had when we got those "Roots Donuts" & "Sandwiches" and they released those two lame albums with no similarities of the mentioned freebies.

Also it's amazing how it takes two & three kats to recreate what J-Dilla did on the fly.
