I can remember people thinking a vet was writing his rhymes for him, because a guy that young writing like that was seen as almost impossible.

I measure rap fans on where they weigh in on certain improbable and often erased or marginalized LEGENDARY cats who impacted so profoundly sans these blah ass corporate "catalog" ass talking points.

^^^^ one of the dopest first lines ..come on lets move it was the shit, and so was pretty much ALL of his first two LPs ..I cant think of another MC whos verses I remember by heart as well as Special Ed (even the backwards verse on "the magnificent" is etched in my mind
