where does that cut rank for you in terms of rap slow jams?
a cat from around my way part Rev Ike and Part Superfly played this song on a piano in that edition of songs we learned from around the way
and the whole block could learn and play.

Song sounds so trash now. There's a lot of rap that happened in that 1986-1987 window that i adored as a kid and now laugh at how awful is. Dana Dane being another example. Thank god for 1988.

the fact that "I need love" was the hit (of the two) is one of hiphop's many tragedies
