"Pitchfork 50 Best Shoegaze Bands/The Veldt"

Today Pitchfork published their list of the 50 best shoegaze band with The Veldt being ranked #43. Of course, as a Veldt fan I wish their ranking was higher, but then again I am glad these still struggling mofos were written about since most major press has ignored them for years. Below is a link to the Pitchfork list as well as an article I wrote about the brothers earlier this year.

I like shoegaze but overall outside of Bloody Valentine the only exposure I had was when other genre bands add it to their repertoire (indie bands like Deerhunter, metal bands like Deafheaven). Knowing some black dudes from the south were pushing out classics in the genre has me more amped to dig deeper.
