"Bruno Mars 24 K is blasting hard"

walked in a Jewelry store and this cut made the cash register ring with shinning coins left and right recently.

Bruno Mars got that Blast right now.

his album is suppose to be on that fire and if this is any indication
he gonna do thangs.

song and video are on point.

i get asked all the time about MJ when Bruno is brought up
and of course nobody is seeing MJ,however Bruno is the artist that channels alot of the right things in music.

if you got jewelry at the club or at the local zales or jewerly store well blast that 24 k and let it shine shine

good night!

Don't know about the MJ comparison just yet but Bruno had definitely proven his consistency thus far. Let's see if he keeps it up enough to be considered a great. With this track as the lead single, this might be the first album of his I actually buy.

Now, my only disappointment with the track is that, whenever I hear such a wonderful homage to the west coast sound, I'm extremely disappointed if I don't see Quik or Battlecat in the credits. I know it's very petty, but I'd just like to see cats give the money to the ones who came up with the shit...

Come to grips with the fact that most OKP's are of the Nut Hugger lineage, so, if you' re not part of the little cliques that exist 'round here, your posts will probably tank like Souljaboy's album sales.

Quik and Battlecat deserve their due for cats using / updating their sound. Agree with you wholeheartedly.

and that is who the inspiration was especially for Quik amongest others.

his versatility and ability to connect with different acts and himself is a testimony thus far to his hard work
and also his talent.

But, if any two producers do the best at channeling that sound, it's those two. And, maybe not so much Quik, but some of the stuff I've heard on BC's instagram definitely could give this one a run for its money.

Either way, I'm elated to hear this sound back on the radio again, no matter who produced it.

When bruno raps, or attempts to, his sound feels similar to anderson.paak.

Eh - not really feeling him... dig the orchestration tho.

But how can Bruno sound like someone he preceded in the game? Especially when he's been doing that half rap, half chant thing for quite some time?

and not only by me either, i read a interview with Frankie Valli a Man who knows a thing or two about hit songs and he said he could see Bruno Mars possibly having a Michael Jackson kind of a career.

so sit down turkey because you are wrong.

MJ would have half of a small country at his shows. Bruno will never come close to that. Bruno doesn't yet have a "Don't Stop..." or 'Billie Jean" or "Beat It" or Thriller" etc etc etc etc. Very good artist, but not even in MJ's universe.

Bruno is still early in his career and he can at least have a career where to a whole different generation of ears might feel MJ lite.

I feel like if this wasn't Bruno, people here would like it more. He seems to be looked at as a male Taylor Swift or something here. He understands how to make hits, talented but still hasn't blown me away with anything ever. I don't get that aura from him like I did with a MJ or Prince and we keep searching for that but not sure if will see it again. D kinda had it I guess but couldn't handle it either. Bruno more in that JT mold of doing stuff well but will always come up inferior to their influences.

he got haters and folks loving his thing and that is a sign he got it.

he has paid dues and he ain't no shoe string tied in a knot jive turkey like Justin timberlake is.

timberlake is a dime a dozen cat with a few alright cuts, but Timberlake never burried Usher.

Bruno's Competition is the past.

and right now you could put Bruno in the studio with Beyonce
and taylor and not miss a beat.

Ding ding...we have a winner.

No hate involved as I dig Tuxedo and B.Mars but when I heard that second single "Chunky" on SNL, I said to my wife "he must have been listening to that Tuxedo album".

"Chunky" sounds like a Tuxedo b-side..
