If you need a pick-me-up, this one is good for that.

There was actually a very strong soul sample and boom bap movement within Milwaukee hip-hop that was at it's best from like 2005/6 to 2012/13. AUTOMatic was part of that movement and is still at it.

The producer of the group Trellmatic works on a Maschine, but I don't know what computer program that is.

Trellmatic is heavily influenced by 9th and started making beats through Fruity Loops in the early 2000's after hearing LB.

This is one of my favorite beats he did. It's an AUTOMatic track with Stricklin from Masta Ace's group eMC and another Milwaukee cat named SPEAK Easy, and it never got finished because they had to rush their album to mastering to start the vinyl pressing so the label could put it out on time. Damn shame the cuts never got laid on the chorus.

The strings sample makes the track fly.
