Background: This season of Veep deals with an presidential election where the electoral votes are split 269-269.
Now the House will call a vote where each state gets 1 vote to determine who will be the new president.
So this season could be about turning a pledge elector to a "faithless" elector, or it could end ANOTHER tie, and then end up in episodes where the house fights. And then I think the Senate could elect a new Vice President independently?? I'm not constitutional scholar, but you could theoretically end up with party taking the presidency and a different one for vice president. Or you could end up with a sitting vice president and no president elected yet.
