I always thought they marr'd what could have been a radio single with that screaming at the beginning of the album cut (though I think there was a radio version with no screaming).
Also, I feel like there are a bunch of tracks that De La Sampled first in interesting ways and other folks came along and sampled in much more commercial ways and made commercial records with them. Agree? Besides ego tripping I am drawing a blank now of course.

....theres a version with a flute as well, but i think its just the instrumental
...i'll go with the album version of Ego Trippin Part two ..got so used to screaming version, so the 12" with out it always seems off to me (even though it works better in the club)
