well, here's why I disagree... the albums are similar, but smaller batches of them sound different, like the martian xmas's are way more melodic and eerily cheery... lotta stuff is more nocturnal, like "Suck A D*ck and Do Lunch" and The Nope... "Brutal" has a lot of its own thing going, sort of his "trains" and "building blocks" style, if I'm making any sense...
but why is a person making a lot of music that has a sound linking it all together a Bad Thing?
I think what dude really wants to say is that he DOESN'T LIKE MOKA'S MUSIC. All that "too much of it sounds the same" seems a bit of a justification. Well, I say, eff it. Screw what I think, just don't like what you don't like, and roam free. I don't like a LOTTA shxt. It doesn't get airtime from me either, and I DEFINITELY don't run around here talking about it.
But why would I hear a person whose music I like, find out they made 50 albums, and be mad because they have a sound? I don't get that.
But do you. and DON'T LIKE it, all day... but you don't need a reason to. Roam free.
And you're NOT gonna convince me not to like what sounds good to me. And I'm not mistaken. The shxt sounds good. You're not gonna convince anyone else, for that matter. But whateverrrrrrrrrrrrrr
