"Folks who you think logially would have collab'd but didn't."
At the top of my list is Paris and The Coup. Bay Area conscious cats, you'd think it be a no brainer on the surface at least. Side note if it ever happened Boots camp MUST be in charge of the production/music end. Hahahhaa.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
At the very least on one song throughout both of their careers. These guys were from the same town with a plethora of mutual friends and colleagues, especially Proof being close friends of both. From what I've read, it was always an issue with timing between the two, and it's not obvious to me that the collab would have worked given their styles, but that's a strange one to me.

I mean that could qualify as timing no? But seriously I don't know the real story, and I'm sure you do, but it never seemed like Dilla's camp was checking for Em like that.

And I've always been curious myself, but that was the only thing I ever heard about why it never went down. It was an interview with Dilla, for the record.

....i feel the same with the Premier / Nas stuff that never came to happen ...timing might delay it a few months ..if heads really wanted to make music together it would have happened

"He was so sick that he couldn’t take a request that Eminem had for some production. He wanted to do something with Dilla and begged for it. That drove a wedge between their relationship. Eminem had no knowledge that Dilla was that ill because Dilla didn’t want anyone to know."

Those are two buckwild individuals who both are known for embracing the downright grimy side of life. I could definitely see them doing a song together if Dirt was still alive.
OL' DIRTY BASTARD, MASTA KILLA & RZA, in one of ODB's final music videos- Special cameo by R.A. the Rugged Man flipping burgers on the grill...
