but then i watched them on youtube at amoeba and they were so lyrically pedestrian i didn't think i'd enjoy them. these tracks sound great musically, and while they sound better here lyrically, i just can't get into them.

Pt. 2 is pretty good. I want to say that it's... mellower than the first installment, though "mellow" might not be the right term. It's definitely jazzier and features almost entirely slower tempo tracks. Which works for them too. Listened to it once, but loving "Graffiti on a High School Wall" and "Feels Good" so far.
