the only problem I've ever had is that some (definitely not all) of his songs aren't as strong as they could be. Toro has constantly progressed sonically but the biggest jump in songwriting was between the first and second albums. Not to mention he almost always sings in falsetto so his tone tends to make every song sound like it's supposed to be bright.
